My dear Lucy,

I wrote to you yesterday to say that we intended to beat? Miss Farrells lodgings some time on Tuesday the 18^th instant, but as I now find it might be necessary for me to be there a few days sooner. I wish to be informed whether we could be received the Friday before, (the 14^th) if the lodgings will be then vacant - and please let me know by return post. In that case we should leave this on Thursday the 13^th and be with you the next day - God willing.
