My dear Son(???)

It is my melancholy and painful duty ………… death of my brother(?) …….unfortunately killed by falling ………………… which is out(?) …………………………………..…………………………………. ……………it quickly(?) to McCaulay(?) cannot give you further particulars at present except to say …. only(?) that it occurred(?) last(?) night at between 9 & 10 oc. The funeral if(?) nothing(?) prevents(?) will be on Sunday(???) at 11OC(?)
